The message invites her to come back, as all their old classmates will be gathering for the first time in a long while. Upon returning home, Rika is met at the port by Kōno, a former classmate she has not seen since graduation. As they reminisce about the past, their conversation flows easily. However, when Rika asks about the upcoming reunion, Kōno strangely avoids giving a clear answer.
